Celebrex Side Effects
There are some serious celebrex side effects along with all the good the drug does. Sometimes some celebrex side effects can occur without any previous waning.
Even though there may not be any warning, there are some possible warning signs including face swellings, swelling of fingers, feet, and / or lower legs; severe stomach pain, black, tarry stools, and/or vomiting of blood or material that looks like coffee grounds; unusual weight gain; and / or skin rash. You should contact your doctor once you experience any of these celebrex side effects warning signs.
Some common and less serious Celecoxib side effects are:
- upset stomach
- stomach pain
- diarrhea
- gas or bloating
- sore throat
Some celebrex side effects can be serious. The following symptoms are uncommon but if you experience any of them - contact your doctor immediately:
- black and tarry stools
- red blood in stools
- bloody vomit
- vomiting material that looks like coffee grounds
- excessive tiredness
- unusual bleeding or bruising
- itching
- lack of energy
- loss of appetite
- pain in the upper right part of the stomach
- yellowing of the skin or eyes
- flu-like symptoms
- rash
- pale skin
- unexplained weight gain
- swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
- hoarseness
- difficulty swallowing or breathing
