Celebrex is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that is used to reduce pain and inflammation. However, this drug does not cure arthritis and only helps as long as one keeps taking it.
Celebrex dosage is available in oral tablets form and used for the following purposes:
- Familial adenomatous polyposis
- Moderate or severe pain or acute pain in adults, such as after dental, surgical, or orthopedic procedures
- Pain during menstruation or pain during women’s monthly periods
- Osteoarthritis relief - bone and joint pain in elderly.
- For the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
Celebrex celecoxib may be used for other purposes, consult your doctor to learn more and see whether celebrex is right for you. Do not take celebrex celecoxib if you have or had asthma. Your asthma could be aspirin sensitive. Taking celebrex celecoxib can cause severe issue by narrowing the airway; or, even death. If you have stomach ulcer, celebrex celecoxib may make your stomach ulcer bleed.
Due to possible celebrex side effects and danger, only take celebrex dosage as prescribed by your physician. Only take it however long your are prescribed it for.
