It is also important that you follow up with your doctor so that your doctor can better assess your condition and improvement and can advice you when to stop the medication.
If you somehow miss a Nexium dosage, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost the time for your next nexium dosage, skip the dose that you missed and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double dose of this medication.
Nexium dosage is different in different patients. Number of dosage needed for you each day and the length of time you need to continue this medication depends on your own individual condition.
To treat ulcers related to infection with H. pylori (infection caused by a bacteria called helicobacter), adults should take 40mg once daily, plus amoxicillin 1000 mg plus clarithromycin 500mg taken together before meals twice a day for ten days.
