However, Breast enlargement and tenderness, skin rash and swelling of lips are more likely to occur with the 5-mg dose which is taken for prostate problems. If you are taking 1mg dosage for hair loss, you should not experience these side effects.
There might be other propecia side effects that usually don’t require medical attention. These side effects usually go away over time as your body gets time to adjust to the medication. Still, ask your doctor if they bother you or don’t go away over time. These side effects are Abdominal pain; back pain; decreased libido (decreased interest in sex); decreased volume of ejaculate (decreased amount of semen); diarrhea; dizziness; headache ; impotence (inability to have or keep an erection)
