Zocor side effects are not usually common. However, just like any other medications, there might be some zocor side effects. Following are more common and less severe side effects. However, if the appear to be severe, contact your doctor immediately.

• heartburn
• headache
• gas
• stomach pain or cramps
• diarrhea
• constipation
• blurred vision
• dizziness
• rash or itching
• upset stomach

Other than the above mentioned more common side effects, there might be some rare and more severe zocor side affects as well. In case if you experience any of the following symptoms, contact your physician at once.

• muscle pain
• tenderness
• weakness with or without a fever
• Decreased sexual ability
